Physician and Surgeon
Dr. David Auguste, DPM is a board-certified podiatric physician through the American Board of Podiatric Medicine, specializing in reconstructive foot and ankle surgery and advanced wound care. A native of Miami, Florida, Dr. Auguste completed his undergraduate studies at Florida State University before earning his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree from the Barry University School of Podiatric Medicine. He went on to complete an intensive four-year medical and surgical residency at NewYork-Presbyterian Queens Hospital in Flushing, New York, where he gained extensive experience in trauma care, diabetic limb salvage, wound management, and complex reconstructive rearfoot and ankle surgery. Dr. Auguste is an active member of several professional organizations, including the Hillsborough Podiatric Medical Association, Florida Podiatric Medical Association, American Podiatric Medical Association, and the Bay Area Medical Association. He has also held leadership roles in the medical community, serving as Vice Chief of Podiatry at Tampa General Hospital and as a member of the Medical Executive Committee at Encompass Health & Rehabilitation Hospital. To better serve the community, Ankle and Foot Associates provides care at two conveniently located offices in Tampa - Temple Terrace and Hyde Park. Dr. Auguste maintains medical and surgical privileges at St. Joseph’s Hospital Main, AdventHealth Carrollwood Hospital and Medical Village Surgical Center.
